DONATIONS & SUPPORT NEEDED NOW!

Calling all ASoF supporters! As we wait for funds from the NEA grant we were just awarded, we are asking for the ASoF community to support the school through monetary donations to support us for the next four weeks.  The grant money won't be here until early September and for the next four weeks the school will be in a difficult shortfall situation. Your donation will make sure ASoF can continue to provide low cost opportunities for children in need of financial aid and help with our operations.

This summer we are happy to report our highest youth enrollment combined with the most productive; the first summer semester students have already completed over twenty short films, animations, with an additional nine films that our Cine Joven children have produced in Spanish! We'll be screening all these this Fall at our annual Loud and Clear Festival.

We are asking for $50 donations. In exchange for your generosity during this difficult time for us, we would like to offer you a two hour Intro to Final Cut and After Effects Seminar that will be scheduled in August. Help out the school and learn the basics of some very cutting edge programs! Final Cut Pro is an editing program that can be used to edit any digital film footage (weddings, birthdays, holidays, vacations, short films, television shows and even feature films!) and After Effects provides special effects to take your project to a whole new level. Our teachers are of the line industry professionals. If you have ever wondered about these programs, we will get you acquainted and you'll be helping us tremendously! Sound Fair?

If donate $100, you will get a membership valued at $50 and the seminar as well.
