Students will learn filmmaking techniques and strategies from the traditions of poetic, avant-grade, surrealists, and low budget production. We will study the work of historically important, innovative artists as well as explore development of the student's own techniques and filmmaking processes to create films that are personal and exploratory in nature. Students will work with Super-8 film stock and edit in our lab.
