This introductory course provides hands-on exercises in composition, camera movement, storyboarding, image, sound development and editing instruction in Final Cut Pro. Each student shoots numerous digital video exercises during class. Students will be guided through both the technical aspects of filmmaking and the various film genres that influence Independent and Mainstream Cinema. All films are screened for the public at the end of the semester at the Alamo Drafthouse during the Loud & Clear Youth Film Festival.

**If this class fails to meet minimum enrollment, it may be
canceled. In case of cancellation, your

You can register your child for an all-day camp (two classes in the same session, 9am - 4:30pm) or for two summer camp classes in different sessions. You have the flexibility to chose whatever classes fit into your summer plans! Also, ASoF will provide lunch for students that take the all-day camp.
REFUND POLICY:
*No Refunds for SUMMER CAMP.
*Cancellations received at least 10 calendar days before the start date of the SPRING/FALL class shall receive 100% refund.
*Cancellations received at least 7 calendar days before the start date of the class shall receive 50% refund.
*Cancellations received fewer than 7 days before the class shall not be credited or refunded.
*No refunds for Apple Certification Exams.
